Features of factors of mental trauma and structure clinical manifestations of internally displaced persons

Abstract

It has now been established that migration and associated socio-economic and socio-psychological problems have a very negative impact on mental health of peoples.

The purpose of the study was to study the mental health status of internally displaced persons (IDP) who applied for medical care.

The methodology of the study combined clinical-psychopathological and pathopsychological research methods of mental health.

27 IDP with various diagnoses turned to the institute clinic for medical assistance. As a result of the study, it was established that the clinical picture was characterized by a polymorphism of symptoms formation of symptomcomplexes — anxious, depressive, phobic, hypochondriacal, asthenic.

The causes of the disease were formation of the disease, the factors of mental trauma, which had temporary dynamics, resulted. At the initial stages, patients stated that they had physiological, psycho-emotional, socio-psychological, informational factors of mental trauma.

At the time of the examination, the socio-psychological factors FPT (59.25 %) was significantly more likely in women, psycho-emotional factors (18.52 %) in men.

All of the foregoing testifi es to the need for timely diagnosis of emotional disturbances in IDP to provide them with adequate medical care.
