Requirements for the technical design of the author's original article

Text files should be submitted in Microsoft Word for Windows.

The format of the sheet is A4, margins: top - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm, left - 3 cm, right - 1 cm. Paragraph indentation - 1.25 cm, alignment - by width. Font for the main text - Times New Roman, size 14, line spacing - 1.5).

Type the text without tabs, line and page breaks, automatic spacing, and forced hyphenation.

Drawings can be created in any vector graphics editor (Origin, Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc.).

All figures, graphs, etc. generated by the Word program should be sent as one file with the article; those created using other computer programs should be submitted as separate files in the programs (formats) in which they were created. For photographs or pixel images, *JPG or *TIF formats with a resolution of at least 300 dpi are preferred. Images should be sized to ensure that the text is clear and legible. Images should be high contrast and sharp.

The text of the article should be edited, proofread and comply with the norms of the literary Ukrainian language.

The title of the article should be as short and informative as possible and should not contain abbreviations. Abbreviations are not allowed in titles!

Abbreviations create obstacles for the reader, so their use should be kept to a minimum. All abbreviations and acronyms, except for commonly used ones, should be explained or deciphered.

Terms are given in accordance with anatomical and histological nomenclature, names of diseases - in accordance with the International Classification of Diseases, units of measurement of physical quantities - in the SI system.

Literary sources should be numbered in the order they are mentioned in the text, and references to them should be given in square brackets.

The amount of graphic material should be minimal. Tables should be provided when data are difficult to find in the text. Repeating the same data in the text, tables, and figures is prohibited.

All illustrative materials (photographs, drawings, drawings, diagrams, graphs, etc.) are labeled as "Fig." with a serial number, and the titles are placed below the illustrative material.

In the text of the article, it is mandatory to provide references to all graphic elements and tables, which should precede the illustrations/tables in question. Tables and illustrations are numbered with Arabic numerals in the order of their first mention in the article. There is no need to use the parentheses: "...shown in Figure ... ", "As can be seen from the table, ... ". It is not allowed to completely duplicate the title of the illustration of the thematic heading of the table in the text; it is recommended to refer to tables and figures in parentheses: (Fig. 1), (Table 1). If there is only one figure in the article, it is not numbered, but is referred to by the word "figure" without abbreviation.

Place the table or figure after the first reference, and add a second reference to the figure or table if necessary: diva.

In the heading of the table, instead of item number or surname number, write N.N. (next number).

Each column in the table should have a short heading (abbreviations may be used). All explanations should be placed in the notes after the table, not in the table rows. In the notes, explain all abbreviations and non-standard abbreviations used.

Diagrams must be properly formed (each axis is labeled, units are in the SI system). The value of the independent variable is plotted on the abscissa axis. Variables on scales should preferably be labeled with a symbol; it is allowed to use the name of the variable or the name of the variable and a symbol. If necessary, provide a legend (explanation of some parts of the figure, symbols, arrows, and other details). All abbreviations used in the figure should be explained at the end of each legend with statistical criteria (methods) and statistical parameters (standard deviation, standard error for the mean, etc.).

If the figure was published earlier, the title should refer to the original source in square brackets and provide written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce it, except for documents that are in the public domain.
