Complaints regarding violations of ethical standards in the publication of scientific articles are reviewed in accordance with international standards (Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)).
If a complaint is received regarding plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, conflict of interest, improper authorship, etc., the editorial board will investigate the validity of the complaint by reviewing the text, peer reviews, and using anti-plagiarism software.
If the complaint is valid, the authors are notified and given the opportunity to explain the situation and provide additional materials. Further consideration of the complaint is conducted with the involvement of independent experts and the authors’ employing institution.
Based on the information received, the editorial board will decide on one of the following options: publish a correction or retract the article, and notify the authors and the complainant of this decision.
