Paroxysmal states in neurotic disorders (clinical and psychopathological structure and principles of therapy)

Abstract

On the basis of clinical and psychopathological examination there were identifi ed and described various kinds of paroxysmal states in the structure of neurotic disorders.

There were examined 257 patients with neurasthenia, mixed dissociative and anxiety and phobic disorders, there were described their clinical features, depending on the presence or absence of paroxysmal states. It was conducted a comparative analysis of the clinical presentation of diff erent kinds of paroxysmal states, it was given their phenomenology and structure. There was developed and tested a scheme of the diff erentiated pharmacotherapy of paroxysmal states at neurotic pathology. On the basis of a comparative analysis of the results of proposed therapy its eff ectiveness was shown
