Abstract

The article provides a review of activities and achievements of the “Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” State Institution. In the article a history of the Institute, the main results of its scientific-research works for the last five years, an implementation of the research developments into public health practice, international liaisons of the Institute are described, a medical care to the population in peacetime and wartime, as well as the main prospective directions of scientific researches of the Institute are outlined.
