Abstract

Relevance. Despite the achievements of modern medicine, the treatment of patients with trigeminal neuralgia (TN) often remains a difficult task. Over time, NTNs become pharmacoresistant, and then there is a need for surgical treatment. The simplest and most affordable methods of treating such patients are blockades of the peripheral branches of the trigeminal nerve with local anesthetic solutions.

Objective of the study: to analyze the immediate and long-term results of treatment of patients with severe neuralgia using a 2% lidocaine solution in combination with a suspension of hydrocortisone acetate.
