Abstract
Migraine is a common complex neurological disorder manifested by headache attacks, more often in one half of the head. It is characterized by electrophysiological and neuroimaging changes in the cerebral cortex, brainstem, hypothalamus, and thalamus. Over the past few years, analysis of brain bioelectrical activity has confirmed the neural basis of migraine.
The purpose of the study was to determine the functional state of the brain of patients with episodic migraine according to the spectral analysis of electroencephalogram (EEG), to find out how clinical tests and symptoms are related to changes in the bioelectrical activity of the cerebral cortex.
