Systemic disorders of brain functions in distant period of explosive closed brain injury: clinical case

Abstract

The paper presents of clinical case of brain traumatic disease course after explosive injury. It was included about forming systemic disorders of brain in distant period based on of patient complaints, anamnesis of disease, data of neurological status as well as results neurophysiological and neuropsychological examinations. This pathology is manifested as functional impairment of non-specifi c system of brain on all levels of organization with domination of mediobasal temporal area dysfunction with involvement of parietal-temporal section of cortex. Case presented points to necessity of durable neurological observation of patients with this pathology for timely diagnosis and treatment of complications as well as for providing of patients psychical and social adaptation.
