Abstract

In the late stages of Parkinson's disease there are a number of complications associated with prolonged therapy with levodopa. The aim of this observation was to investigate the eff ect of levodopa therapy on the dynamics of non-motor phenomena of Parkinson's disease. It is established that in the late stages of Parkinson's disease non-motor manifestations contribute to the deterioration of the quality of life and the irrational intake therapeutic medicines, in particular levodopa. Therefore, it is important to timely determine the need for levodopa therapy and to monitor the use of levodopa preparations.
