The article is based on an analysis of scientific developments reviewed
by the Expert Problem Commissions
of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and
the National Academy of Medical Sciences
of Ukraine “Neurology” and “Psychiatry.
Medical Psychology” in 2016 (“Institute
of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology
of the NAMS of Ukraine” State Institution).
This analysis has demonstrated that the
aim of the most part of them is development of diagnostic criteria and predictors,
links of pathogenesis and factors of formation, innovative treatment and rehabilitation models for nervous and mental
diseases
Determining a scientific significance
of the research works, it should be pointed
out that the reform of the fi eld of medicine,
which is being carried out in Ukraine, needs
a displacement of the emphasis on organizational, technological, and pharmaceuticaleconomic aspects of neurological, psychiatric, and narcological medical care under
contemporary conditions.
Epidemiological and pharmacologicaleconomic researches must be the primary
scientifi c tasks. This will enable scientists
to work out and implement new technologies of management and organization
of medical care which correspond to the
strategy of the medical reform in Ukraine
and take into account European and world
experiences.
