In a rather complicated situation is in Ukraine (social and political upheaval, warfare, information warfare), training of physicians with respect to issues of mental health and training of physicians-psychiatrists are critical national security objectives

The organization and teaching base training physicians-psychiatrists in Ukraine at undergraduate and postgraduate stages was analyzed. The basic problem in the preparation of psychiatrists in Ukraine, proposed measures to overcome them.

Strategic course towards European integration of Ukraine determines the relevance of the approximation of curricula in medical universities to international and European standards of education,

particularly in the preparation of psychiatrists.
