Copyright, Licensing, and Archiving

Authors retain their copyright and grant the journal the right to publish original scientific articles presenting the results of basic and applied research, practical experience in clinical practice, and the organization of medical care, provided that such articles are not currently under consideration for publication in other journals. All materials are distributed under the terms of the license  Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY, which allows others to distribute the work with acknowledgment of the authorship of this work and the first publication in this journal.

If the author has submitted an article to the editorial board of the “Ukrainian Bulletin of Psychoneurology”, he or she guarantees, that the material is submitted:

  • does not violate the copyrights of other persons or organizations
  • has not been previously published by other publishers and has not been submitted for publication to other publications.

The author hands over to the editorial board of the journal “Ukrainian Bulletin of Psychoneurology” rights to:

  • publication of the article in Ukrainian (English) and distribution of its printed version;
  • distribution of the electronic version of the article through any electronic means (placement on the official website of the journal, in electronic databases, repositories, etc.)

The author reserves the right to publish without the consent of the editorial board and founders:

Use the materials of the article in whole or in part

1) for educational purposes;

2) to write their own dissertations;

3) to prepare abstracts, conference reports, and oral presentations.

4) Place electronic copies of the article (final electronic version downloaded from the official website of the journal) on:

  • personal web resources of all authors (websites, web pages, blogs, etc.);
  • web resources of the institutions where the authors work (including electronic institutional repositories);
  • non-commercial open access web resources.

In all these cases, a bibliographic reference to the article or a hyperlink to its electronic copy on the official website of the journal is mandatory.

The journal provides archiving and the long-term preservation of published materials to ensure their continued availability and the preservation of scholarly content. Archiving is carried out in the following areas:

  • on the journal’s online platform, which provides open access to all publications;
  • archiving at the V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, which helps expand access to publications;
  • Regular data backups to prevent data loss.

The journal guarantees unrestricted open access to published materials, the stability of electronic links, and the long-term preservation of research results.
