Анотацiя В статті розглянуті вплив травматичної події, пов’язаної з пренатальним діагнозом вродженої вади серця у плода, та копінг-стратегії вагітних та їхніх чоловіків. Було виявлено, що більшість вагітних жінок та їх чоловіків після пренатального діагнозу орієнтовані на пошук можливих способів ефективного вирішення проблеми та використання своїх особистісних ресурсів. Однак майже 60 % чоловіків та жінок не хотіли звертатись за допомогою і підтримкою до оточуючих близьких людей та близько 20 % жінок намагались уникнути реальної дійсності, пов’язаної з пренатальним діагнозом та необхідністю подальшого оперативного лікування дитини. Актуальним залишається розроблення та запровадження в Україні системи медико-психологіч- ного супроводу вагітних, які очікують на народження дитини з вродженою вадою серця.
