Abstract

The article contains materials on the study of existing methods of objective identifi cation of aff ective states. Knowledge about the neurophysiological, genetic and epigenetic foundations of mental and behavioral disorders have not been yet transformed into qualitatively new, objective methods of diagnosis and differential diagnosis of depressive states. The existing methods of objective identifi cation of human aff ective states are widely represented in jurisprudence, in fi eld of staff management (lie detectors, stress detectors, complexes for psychosemantic analysis, etc.), but not in clinical psychiatry. The development of methods for the objective diagnosis of aff ective disorders and their introduction into clinical psychiatry is an acute problem that can signifi cantly improve quality of medical care for patients with psychiatric problems.
