Abstract

In the work it was carried out the complex analysis of prevalence of multiple sclerosis in different regions of Ukraine. There were revealed the factors of risk which were preceding the clinical manifestation of debut. There were presented various types of debuts with different courses of multiple sclerosis in western and eastern regions of Ukraine on the models of Kharkiv and Lviv regions. It was given characteristics of relapses of different degrees with relapsing course of multiple sclerosis. There were revealed different types of progressing stages (progressive, relapsing, steady) with the primary- and secondary-progressive courses which were differed from each other by their mechanisms of formation. The criterions of favorable, unfavorable and indefinite prognosis for different courses of multiple sclerosis were picked out. It was given clinical and pathogenetic description of different courses of multiple sclerosis according to the psychological, neurovisual, neurophysiologic and immunological methods of research. It was grounded the application of the new original technologies of the medical treatment of multiple sclerosis (autotransplantation of stromal cells and endolumbal introduction of glucocorticoids), there were developed approaches for the differentiated application of modern methods of pathogenetic therapy taking into account the stage of activity and type of course of the demielinizative process. The farmakoeconomical ground of medical treatment of the patients with multiple sclerosis was conducted, including the preparations of the preventive action.
