Анотація

В статті наведені рекомендації щодо терапії та  профілактики біполярного афективного розладу (БАР), які базуються на настановах провідних професіональних організацій.

В  статті описані алгоритми лікування БАР на  трьох етапах: гострої фази (купірування), підтримувальної та  профілактичної (протирецидивної) терапії. Виокремлені рекомендації щодо лікування маніакальних/гіпоманіакальних та  змішаних станів; біполярної депресії та  БАР зі  швидкоциклічним перебігом. У  статті наголошується, що  вибір препарату базується не  лише на  рівні його доведеної ефективності та  безпечності, а  й на  аналізі клінічних особливостей (полярність афекту, тип перебігу, домінуюча симптоматика і т. ін.), соматоневрологічного статусу, коморбідної патології та  прихильності до  лікування.
