Abstract Today alopecia remains one of the most topical dermatological problems. In the article the results of research displays maladaptive characteristics of women who suff er from alopecia. The author provides an analysis of the emotional state of women of the investigated categories, and on this basis the target of psychocorrectional impact are selected and psychic correction and psychocorrectional method is developed by the author for these patients. It is noted that after using of this method it is observed increasing of adaptive characteristics in all areas of functioning.
