Abstract The clinical manifestations of sexual function in depressive disorders in women of various origins. In addition to clinic-psychopathological special sexological examination, diagnostics instruments were used: the scale of sexuality developed by W. E. Shell, D. R. Papini (1989) to determine the self-esteem of each of the spouses of their sexual capabilities and whether they have sexual concerns and sexual depression; single scale questionnaire marital communication Bienvenu (by C. Schaap, 1982) — to determine the level of marital happiness. The study included 399 married couples with depressive disorders of diff erent genesis in women aged 19 to 48 years old. The correlations between the indicators and methods of data obtained by the traditional sexological method, which indicates the high importance of the combined use of psychological and clinical approaches. Studied the importance of the features of sexual function of women patients on their degree of adaptation at all levels of interaction in the genesis of the spouses family health disorders.
