Abstract The purpose of the study is a  complex assessment of addictive status of persons with alcohol ad-diction and selection of associated non-alcoholic addictive phenomena as additional diagnostic markers of primary substance abuse disor-der.142  people were examined, in-cluding 71  patients with alcohol ad-diction (AA), and 71 virtually healthy people. System of AUDIT-like tests (including the actual test AUDIT) was used for complex assessment of addictive status. The data were processed by methods of mathemati-cal statistics (analysis of variance, and the calculation of the coei cients and diagnostic measures informativity of Kulback). Was found that addictive status of people, who are alcohol addictive is characterized by stable combination of "titular" alcohol ad-diction with a range of non-alcoholic addictive phenomena of varying severity. It was shown that among all non-alcoholic addictive phenom-ena most important markers of the presence of alcohol addiction are: tobacco smoking, on the level of ad-diction (> 19 points in the appropri-ate AUDIT-like test) and keenness of computer games at risky consump-tion» (>  7  points in the appropriate AUDIT-like test). Markers of absence of alcohol addiction (although quite weak) are keenness of reading and shopping in any grade (>  0  points in the relevant AUDIT-like tests). As suggested directions for further research is to expand the range of investigated non-alcoholic addictions to improve estimation accuracy of addictive status and study the cor-relations between them.
Key words alcohol addiction, ad-dictive status, non-alcoholic addictive phenomena, markers, diagnostics
