Abstract Was investigated liquor of 135 patients with multiple sclerosis on the presence of causative agents of neurophilic infections, and similarly with the purpose of clarifi cation infl uence of pathogens on permeability of blood-brain barrier. It is well-proven that the presence of infectious factor increases permeability of blood-brain barrier at the diff erent types of course of disease and can serve as the unfavorable prognostic criterion of course of multiple sclerosis. The verifi ed pathogen is a founding of prescription of specifi c therapy.
Key words multiple sclerosis, blood-brain barrier, infectious agent.
