 The study involved 75 patients with hallucinatory-paranoid disorders in the structure of vascular dementia (main group) and 63 patients with vascular dementia not complicated by psychotic disorders (control group). As a result of the study, the cognitive features of hallucinatory-paranoid disorders in vascular dementia were identified, which include: operating (DC = –1,55), motivational (DC = –2.32) and dynamic (DC = –1.19) disorders components of thinking and its criticality (DK = –2,06), decrease in stability of attention (DK = –1,93) and memory (DK = –1,27), violation of praxis (DK = –1,46), gnosis (DK = –1.42), costing (DK = –1.08), and orientation (DK = –1.50). Psychopathological features of hallucinatory-paranoid disorders in the structure of vascular dementia were identified, which included: persecutory delusions of material damage, robbery, robbery (p < 0.05), hallucinations (p < 0.0001), verbal aggression (DK = 3.04), severe anxiety (DC = 1.67), rhythm disorders day / night (DC = 2.25), decreased mood (mainly in the form of dysphoria) (DC = 1.42), disorders of the depressive spectrum (p < 0.05); marked distraction (DC = 1.54). The findings should be considered in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with hallucinatory-paranoid disorders in the structure of vascular dementia.
