Abstract | Rehabilitation of patients with sequelae of craniocerebral trauma (CCT) is one of the most important medical and social problems of Ukraine today. Improvement of methods of the head injury treatment is an important problem for a practical doctor. The paper presents the results of a survey of 60 patients who underwent the CCT of the moderate severity in the long-term period. The study was performed in three stages as follows: on the day of admission of patients to the hospital, in 1 and 3 months against a background of complex therapy with the use of cogniphen (the main group) and pyracetam (control group). The effectiveness of therapy was assessed using psychodiagnostic scales, as well as the dynamics of neurological status and neuropsychological disorders. The results of the study show that the most pronounced eff ects of therapy were observed in patients of the main group with anxiety and anxiety-depressive disorders, depressive disorders with excitation, excessive irritability, tension, increased motor excitability and impaired spatial functions. In doing so, the improvement in the indicators of the psychoemotional sphere was noted already 1 month after the initiation of therapy with further stabilization. The usage of cogniphen in the complex therapy of the CCT quickly and signifi cantly improves the social adaptation of the injured patient. | ||||
