Abstract Numerous military and social conflicts, the threat of terrorism in the world have led to the displacement of millions of people to other areas. Ukraine is no exception. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the country has more than one million displaced people, including children up to 27 %, the disabled and the elderly — 21 %. Disorders of mental health related with psychological trauma, war and conflict is a major public health problem worldwide. Conducted analysis of the structure of mental disorders displaced during the armed conflicts in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Nepal, Nigeria, Georgia and now Ukraine. Is proved that civi lians who survived the fighting have different in structure and degree of severity of emotional disorders, exacerbation of personality traits, behavioral disorders, transformation of the system of basic beliefs. Special attention needs prevention of classical psychosomatic disorders such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus 2 type, ulcerative colitis, neurodermitis, rheumatoid arthritis and others. Provision of medical and psychosocial assistance for this category of citizens is one of the key problems of our time.
