Abstract Our research was be focused on studying some gender peculiarities in 72 children with neurosislike enuresis. Conclusion derived from the results allows to state that girls have more severe signs of personality neurotic development compared to boys: distortion of self-appraisal system, disorders of psychological and social adaptation. Moreover, upbringing was distorted by dominated hyperprotection type in girls' families, while for boys characteristic was perception of their families as confl icting and having a feeling of defectiveness.
